Some of my mushroom collections are inspired by the base of the mushroom. These are made using stoneware clay and high fire glazes.
This mushroom was made using the slab and pinch pot method
The cap of this mushroom is made from terracotta and then burnished using a metal spoon, This gives it a subtle sheen. The stem is made of earthenware. The underglaze is velvets, and then dry brushed with blue velvets. No glaze applied.
