Happy New Year
I made these vases out of chocolate black clay and white earthenware. They were made by using the slab method and then inlaying the shaped earthenware. The shaped pieces had to be on the dry side before inlaying into the soft brown clay. Both clays had similar shrinkage and firing temperatures.
